What do artificial scores mean on a player's Handicap Record?

This will display when a player's HI was previously allocated (prior to WHS) without the golf club inputting the scores when assigning the Handicap Index.

It might also be the case that at the time of transitioning across to Dot Golf and WHS, it wasn't possible to use the scores on the record due to key information not being posted back from the competition software that would allow the system to automatically calculate a Score Differential for each round.

In either case, Dot Golf have used what they call "artificial scores" in the background to ensure that a player could still transition across to the World Handicap System.

The HI is technically valid however, as and when the player starts to enter more scores, the system will re-calculate a HI for you based on your current demonstrated ability.
