How to Create a Fourball Competition
1. Navigate to https://live.clubhouse.scottishgolf.org/Events/Calendar.aspx
2. Click "EVENTS"
3. Click this button to create a new competition.
4. Give your competition a title
5. Then select the format of Golf.
6. You'll see a number of 4BB formats to chose from.
7. You'll also note that these apply to teams of 2 or 4 players so make sure you select the correct format.
8. If you scroll down you'll see the option for a 4 player team.
9. Complete your competition profile by selecting the markers used.
10. Make sure to change the competition settings if this is a non-counting competition.
11. Untick "Scores are eligible for handicapping" if this is the case.
12. Click "SAVE CHANGES" to save the profile.
13. Click "Dashboard"
14. Click "View Registration Options" to open your competition for entry.
15. Click "Edit Registration Options"
16. Input the open and closing date of the competition.
17. Click "Allow online payments" if you are accepting payments for the competition.
18. Don't forget to save your changes.
19. When players enter via the app they will be auto-paired if they enter together. If you enter them in the back office then you will need to manually pair them and take payment.
20. As the format of play requires each player to submit a scorecard; players can use the App, Kiosk or have their cards generated in the back office.
All players must complete the full scorecard and the platform will then apply those scorecards in the back office to the competition profile where the format/allowances will be applied.
