Creating Customer Types and % Discounts in EposNow

1. Within Setup > Customer Types you will be able to add a variety of different customer types to your EposNow Till.

2. You can click edit to update the name or percentage of existing customer types at anypoint.

3. Click "Add Customer Type" to add a new customer type. If you have different % of discount applied to different products then you will want to put 0% in the field so you can apply the discounted cost directly to the product itself.

4. This percentage will then be applied across all items so only update/add if that's correct for you.

5. If your customer discount only applies to some products (i.e Wet or Dry) then you will need to apply this directly to the the products it relates to. To do this click on Manage and then Product List.

6. Find the product you wish to apply the discount to and click Advanced.

7. Scroll down the options until you find Customer Specific Prices at the bottom of the page.

8. Here is where you can apply the customer type and the price that they should be charged for that product. Please note you are inputing the price and not a percentage.

Please also be aware if you do have a percentage set up in the master profile of the customer type, this will be applied on top of this price too.
