2024 WHS Update

The World Handicap Authority (WHA) has been closely monitoring the implementation of the World Handicap System and it is envisaged that, from now on, the system will be reviewed on a regular four-year cycle, similar to the Rules of Golf.

Following recent feedback, the WHA is bringing forward various changes due to be implemented in Scotland by April 2024.

Golf clubs can read this overview of the 2024 changes, including guidance on how education will be rolled out across Scotland in the coming months.
